Teaching and Research Work Meeting
In order to effectively promote the education and teaching work of the new semester, the teaching and research meeting of the new semester was held in the conference room on the second floor at 10 A.M. on 13th February, and the education and teaching work of the second semester of the 2021-2022 academic year was arranged, which was attended by Principal Assistant Hu Qilin, Director Zhang Li of the Teaching Department and all the teaching and research group leaders and lesson preparation group leaders.
In the first place, the meeting mainly focused on the routine work and teaching and research work of the new semster. To begin with, Director Zhang Li made a unified deployment of the teaching and research work of the new term, and proposed to strengthen the management of conventional education and teaching, especially the education and teaching work of the graduating classes. Additionally, the teaching and research activities of each discipline group should be carried out to improve teaching quality. Moreover, Director Zhang Li encouraged all subject groups to actively organize special activities, teachers' demonstration classes and teaching and research activities in both the east and west campuses. Finally, Director Zhang Li hoped that everyone could cooperate and make joint efforts to do a good job in our school's education and teaching work.
In the second place, Principal Assistant Hu Qilin also put forward several reminders to the teaching and research work. He emphasized that the education and teaching work of the graduating classes was the focus of the work of this semester, and each teaching and research group should give priority to the development of education and teaching work of the graduating classes. Meanwhile, under the policy of ‘reducing students’ homework burden and reducing the burden of off-campus training for students’, teachers are supposed to reinforce the awareness of cultivating excellence, think more and do more practice to promote their professional development. On the other hand, the leaders of the teaching and research groups and lesson preparation groups should enhance their sense of ownership, work boldly and actively, take active responsibilities, strengthen the construction of teaching and research groups and disciplines, strive to improve teaching quality and professional level of teachers, and endeavor to create a new situation of disciplinary education and teaching in our school with efficient and solid teaching and research activities as the carrier.
In conclusion, well begun is half done. This teaching and research meeting clafified the work responsibilities and work orientation of the teaching and research group leaders and lesson preparation group leaders in the new semester, which laid a solid foundation for the new semster’s education and teaching work.
